McMillan Eco Design is a small landscape design/build business dedicated to creating resilient landscapes that are both ecologically appropriate, beautiful and long lasting. I can serve any part of your project from initial to ongoing design consultation, earthwork and machine work, to finished work such as planting and hardscapes.  I do both landscape repair and new installations and have extensive experience and knowledge in homesteading, recreational trail work, garden installations, hardscapes; patios, walkways, and drystone walls, and edible landscaping.

In addition to design and construction I do public speaking and educational talks.  I am a certified permaculture designer and teacher and love to share my knowledge to larger audiences when applicable.

At the heart of the business is years of trail work, landscape construction, pollinator and edible gardening, and education. I am a skilled equipment operator and own a mini skid steer. This allows me to very efficiently move dirt and materials, even in the tightest of spaces.  Let me create, repair, rebuild or re-imaging your outdoor space to its fullest potential.
